I started working in the Pipe Organ industry in 1990, with Quimby Pipe Organs Inc. Since joining the Quimby team I have worked in nearly every facet of organbuilding, specializing in Pipe Making and repair under the tutelage of Tommy Anderson, of N. Easton MA.. For the last 15 years I have managed the Service Department, tuning and maintaining 100+ instrument in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas. In June of 2023 I retired from Quimby Pipe Organs and decided that that wasn't going to work for me so I started my own company, Emerson Pipe Organ Specialties, LLC. My hope is to provide a service to the industry doing organ pipe repair, Electronics installation, Custom leather work, and on site training.
